Our Story
Hi, we’re Sara and Caleb Gamache — the family behind the shop.
In 2025, we had the incredible opportunity to purchase Alta Vista Meats from Max and Laura Schrader. They built something truly special, and we feel honored to carry that legacy forward while continuing to serve the community they cared so much about.
After 22 years of military service, Caleb recently retired, and as a family we decided it was time to plant roots somewhere we could slow down a little, work together, and raise our kids in a place where community and values still matter.
This business fits our family in a very real way. Hunting and processing our own game is a important tradition with us and our kids; teaching them responsibility, respect for the animal, and pride in providing for your family. The chance to grow a family-run business that our children can be part of — and maybe even take over one day — is something we care deeply about.
We’re committed to keeping the quality, service, and trust that customers have come to expect, while also finding thoughtful ways to grow and improve over time. We believe in treating people right, working hard, and staying connected to the community — and that’s exactly what we plan to do here.
